Rough Earth Snake

Characteristics
- Average size is between 7 and 10 inches.
- Diet consists primarily of earthworms and arthropods
- Has rough scales and a pointed head
The rough earth snake is a small snake that hides in the leafy underbrush of the forest. It is very similar to the smooth earth snake, the only discernible difference is the rough scales compared to the smooth earth snake’s smooth scales. These snakes do not pose a danger to humans.
